About	Robin Elizabeth Peters, 60, of Salem, Va., Gerald Greer's loving and caring wife, has begun her Heavenly journey on Sunday, June 14, 2015. She will be sorely missed by her husband, Gerald Greer; son, Andrew Peters-Greer of Salem; stepsons, Jason Greer of Salem and Benjamin Greer of Goshen, Ind.; and her cat, Shadow. Surviving are her sisters, Bonnie Crowder and husband, of Roanoke, Va., Deborah Sherrill and husband, Crystal Dotson, of Tennessee, and Thelma Nelson, of Maryland; her brothers, John Peters, of Roanoke, Frank Peters, Charles Peters and wife of Maryland; aunt, Gladys Hunley; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving cousins and friends. Robin Peters was a former employee of Sears. She worked there as a service technician, working mostly on furnaces and riding lawnmowers. She was very gifted in fixing things and very mechanically inclined. She was a graduate of William Byrd High School and received an Associates Degree in Computer Science at Virginia College. She attends Faith Wesleyan Chapel "Church" in Salem. Robin was also a Harley Davidson Motorcycle lover. She used to own and ride one. Every Christmas, her sister, Bonnie, or her husband, Gerald, would buy her a Harley Davidson shirt to wear. Robin was a gentle, loving, caring soul, a good loving wife, my soul mate, and a very caring mother. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Roy Rogers and the Rev. Brian Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m at Lotz Funeral Home Salem.
