About	Patrick Dey Rhodes, Jr. , 64, of Roanoke, Va., passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018. Pat loved the Lord and was a devoted and tireless member of Troutville Baptist Church for 20 years who served his church in many capacities. Pat was the Facilities Manager at Virginia Western Community College and was referred to as “the best boss ever” by the men who worked with him. Pat has been a member of the Boy Scouts of America, BRMC for 55 years and has served at every level from Jr. Scout Master to Woodbadge staff. He held a position on the Woodbadge staff longer than anyone in the council. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Pat was predeceased by his parents, Patrick Dey Rhodes, Sr. and Virginia Kennon Rhodes; and grandson, Christopher Rhodes. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Pamela Rhodes; son, Michael Dey Rhodes (Crystal), and their children, Sue, Kendra, Seth and Killian; step-daughter, Beth Deel (John Johnson), and their sons, John Henry and Buck Irving; and step-son, Scott Deel (Lynette); brothers, Douglas Rhodes and John Rhodes (Julie); and two nephews. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Troutville Baptist Church, 5520 Lee Hwy, Troutville, Va. 24175, with Pastor Carol Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2018, at Oakey’s North Chapel.
