About	Shirley Ann Ryan Stull, 67, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer and diabetes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Artie and Fay Ryan, and her brother, David Ryan. Shirley loved and cherished her cats and dogs. She loved rescuing cats and spending time in nature with many of God’s creatures. One of her greatest joys was to be at the beach. Shirley worked for Kroger for over 30 years before retiring. Shirley is survived by her partner of over 30 years, Joe Wilhelm of Roanoke, Virginia; her sister, Bonnie Norton (David) of Hague, Virginia; niece, Jennifer Wolfenbarger (Andy) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; nephew, Steven Norton (Kim) of Ashland, Virginia; two great-nephews; two great-nieces; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m.. on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at the Oakey’s Vinton with Pastor Allen Woodie officiating. Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2022, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Roanoke Valley SPCA, American Cancer Society, or to the American Diabetes Association.
