Bill was an outstanding academic student in East High. He earned an academic letter and also participated in the math bowls. Bill earned several honors and awards including scholarships and ultimately went to Massachusetts Institute of Technology to earn his Bachelors Degree. He attended MIT with fellow East '83 Grad John Nguyen and other Wichita alum, Todd Barber and Gus Lopez.
