Navy Reserves, 6 Years
Joined the reserves in summer of '61 before my senior year. Served and did active duty up until June of '65 when I was Honorably discharged. The next month Pres. Johnson froze the discharge of all services to build up for Vietnam. torn between wishing I had been retained and seeing the results glad I was not subjected to the abuse we gave our military that served....
