Typical day was 24 hour shifts 5 ships at same time. 1982 hired by Puget Sound Naval Shipyard near Seattle, worked in nuclear training, radiological emergency planing, ended up as subject matter expert for radioactive and hazardous material. Retired 1999 moved to Hanford wa. Hanford wa again transportation of hazardous waste.
Between active/reserve got to visit Norway, Denmark, Scotland, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Monaco, England, Ireland, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Japan, Australia, Canada.
