Mascot Exhibit
Good morning,
My name is Ann Evans, and I'm the Curator at the Williamson Museum. We are currently working on a Mascots of Williamson County exhibit that will go up at the beginning of September. We would like to put a call out to Westwood students and alumni for Warrior themed items or photographs- of pep rallies, mascots, teams,etc. for possible inclusion in the exhibit. Would you be able to help us, perhaps by promoting this on Facebook or amongst yourselves? Or by including it in the alumni newsletter?
We can do loans for items, but we would need items by the beginning of August.

In the past 6 months hundreds of 1982 thru 2008 Westwood Grads have signed onto this Website with over 800 Grads signed on. Congrats to 1988 Class with over 120 Grads signed on and growing fast with the 1983 Class in second place with 85 Grads signed on. As predicted, sometime in 2008, the 1000th Westwood Grad will sign on.
NCAA BASKETBALL ROBBIE COWGILL
2004 Westwood Grad, Robbie Cowgill, a senior forward with #4 Washington State played in the NCAA Basketball Tournament Sweet 16, against #1 North Carolina. Washington State lost 68-47. Robbie is number 34. He had 8 solid rebounds, 2 points, 1 steal and five solid fouls in 31 minutes of play time. Way to go Robbie Cowgill!

Westwood Upsets Cedar Park
Westwood Football Team Upsets Cedar Park 19-14. Tyler Grabarkewitz completed 38 of 67 passes for 393 yards and 1 TD. Phillip Rousch had 15 catches for 246 yards and 1 score. Jordan Williamson added 4 field goads as Westwood Football wins again!

WESTWOOD FOOTBALL WINS AGAIN
The Warriors won again with a score 27-17 against Temple at RRISD stadium. The Warriors are now 2-1 in the young season. Westwood had 497 total yards of offense rushing 35 attempts for 247 yards and had 43 passing attempts for 250 yards. Go Team!
