Mark passed away from Melonoma. Mark was an exceptional friend. He was always ready to help or encourage. He was surprised when I told him that I "leaned" on him in choir; we were both basses and he had a stronger voice than mine. He never thought he could really sing but he did well by my estimation. I visited him once when Scotty was just a few months old. "Watching Scotty Grow" was his favorite song. I heard it several times during that visit.
