| About Me | AFTER GRADUATING FROM PENN STATE I WORKED AT THE INTERNATIONAL RADIO AND TELEVISION SOCIETY IN NEW YORK CITY WHERE I PLANNED EVENTS HONORING TELEVISION AND MEDIA STARS AND EDITED A BIOOK ON ED SULLIVAN. I MARRIED FELLOW PENN STATER BILL BOWERS IN 1968 AND FOLLOWING HIS GRADUATION FROM PRINCETON THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY WE MOVED TO BUTLER PENNSYLVANIA FOR TWO YEARS, ON TO WILMINGTON, DELAWARE FOR EIGHT YEARS; ON TO MANSFIELD, OHIO FOR 12 YEARS WHERE I WORKED AS A TELEVISION ANCHOR WOMAN AND LATER AS A FAMILY RESOURSE COORDINATOR FOR THE COUNTY BOARD OF MENTAL RETARDATION; AND THEN TO OMAHA, NEBRASKA WHERE WE HAVE LIVED SINCE 1993. BILL RETIRED AS SENIOR MINISTER FROM DUNDEE PRERSBYTERIAN CHURCH IN THE FALL OF 2007. hE IS CURRENTLY SERVING AS INTERIM SENIOR MINISTER IN CELEBRATION, FLORIDA AND I COMMUTE BACK AND FORTH AS FREQUENTLY AS POSSIBLE. I HAVE WORKED AS THE VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR FOR THE VISITING NURSE ASSOCIATION FOR THE PAST 13 YEARS.
