Favorite School Memory	Holding our diplomas in hand on the graduation stage, none of us knew the words to alma mater and were excitedly chattering with one another. About Me	I started at Boston University and in the second year transferred to Hebrew University in Jerusalem for a few years; where I met the woman who became my first wife. A few years later I returned to the US, we married, finished our educations and began work, grad schools, doctoral degrees, internships, fellowships, etc. I ended up on the BU faculty in Neurology, kids arrived, and life was good. In 1988 we moved to Philadelphia from Boston, and I began work in Neurology at the Graduate Hospital, affiliated with U. of PA. The kids were a ton of fun, work was rewarding, and eventually my department shifted allegiances. We split up, and I went with the gang who joined Jefferson Medical College; where I still maintain an academic practice and research program. Personal life did not go as smoothly, and tragically my first wife developed a progressive illness and died in 2003. I remarried 3 years ago to a charming woman who has returned the warmth of life to me. My 1st born is now married to a lovely woman and they have a son of their own. He is a partner in a public policy research firm. My daughter lives in Boston and sells shoes....millions of them. She's an account supervisor for a big media and advertising firm. I divide my professional time between Jefferson and a private practice north of Phillie...well the bills do have to get paid. About 10 years ago I caught the aviation bug and fulfilled a lifelong dream to become a sailplane pilot. It's much like sailing but we exploit the weather to fly motorless aircraft hundreds of miles.
