Claudia Straitiff, 49, passed away unexpectedly in her home in North Carolina on December 2, 2011.

Born in Johnstown, PA January 4, 1962. She is the daughter of Dorothy K. and the late William Straitiff. Survived by her mother and 5 sisters, Lynne Beck of Pittsburgh and daughter Candace Hirsch of Atlanta, GA, Patricia and Larry Casale and sons Michael and Daniel of Vero Beach, Fla., Joan Straitiff of Annandale, Va., Susan and Craig Stuver and son Jonathan of Pittsburgh, Natalie and Kim McKee of Boswell, Pa.

Though she is married to Dana Stewart, she has always retained her name professionally. Claudia resided in North Carolina but her wishes were to be buried in Johnstown by her father.

Friends will be received Thursday December 8, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown, Pa. where her Memorial Service will be held Friday December 9, 2011 at 10:30 AM Interment Grandview Cemetery.
