| About Me | In my High School years and right after I work for the Shell gas station on Westminster Blvd. & Springdale St. and a great place was Riverdale Plastics in Santa Ana with Kim Barbee Class of 69, thanks to his wonderful father. Also Crown Cork & Seal Co. Over the years I worked two jobs for many, many years, A few standouts were: Rogers Auto in Anaheim, I joined the Teamsters Union when I was working at Western Reclamation in Santa Ana, Ca. (Now called Waste management) Los Angeles Freightliner, Whittier, Ca. plus others. Journeymen Truck Technician: Started working for Lucky Stores on January 30, 1978 when I was 27 years old. Work in the Truck Shop at the Lucky Stores Distribution Center in Buena Park. Albertsons Stores bought Lucky Stores. In September 2000 we had to move to the Albertsons Stores Distribution Center in Brea, Ca. and as of this date 2/16/2019 I’m still working there. Taylor Bus Service: 5 ½ years Diesel Mechanic · June 1972 to March 1978 · Anaheim, California This was my first job out of collage as a mechanic. I started working for Taylor Bus about June 1972 when the Taylor’s still own the Company on Deal Street in Anaheim, Ca. Good company to work for and great people to work with! The Tyler’s sold the company to Thomas W Berthold. He was a very good person to work for and my supervisor’s were Ruben and then Bill Herb, wonderful people! We had one yard when I started there 4 yards when I lift about March 1978.
