Class of 1967

After many years in Orange County politics, I decided in 2000 to run for the City Council in Mission Viejo. My husband Rick was my campaign manager and together we changed the face of Mission Viejo politics. He helped me serve two terms (8 years) and twice was honored to serve this city of 100,000 residents as Mayor. In 2008, I decided not to run for a third term since we were both retired and wanted more time to cruise. We had two more wonderful years before he was diagnosed with cancer. In November of 2011, he succumbed to lung cancer and I am back in the arena thinking of running again.
