About Me	About 18 months after I graduated from WD I was drafted into the Army. I spent 13 months in Vietnam as a squad leader of a small unit in the First Infantry Division. Part of my Vietnam story was documented by the History Channel in a film called Operation Reunion 3. After completing my military obligations I enrolled and graduated from Drake U. I was a social worker for 10 years, a cabinetmaker for another 10 years and a Real Estate Broker for over 22 years. I have been active in Hospice as a volunteer and teacher of veteran's issues for the past decade and was on the Board of Directors and House Manager for the Chamber Singers of Iowa City - a group of 56 singers and 40 symphony orchestra players who are now celebrating their 45th anniversary. I was fortunate enough to marry the love of my life 22 years ago. In 2000 we returned to Vietnam where we lived for a month. I retired in 2013 and moved to Missouri.
