Joined the Navy first in 1969 -1972. I then joined the Indiana Air National Guard in 1974 -1996. In the Navy was stationed Millington, TN at Navy Air Technical Training Command(NATTC) I retired from the Navy and Indiana Air National Guard with 25 years service. In the Navy worked in personnel and with the Air Guard was Contracting Officer and in Supply.

I enlisted right after graduation . Went to basic training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio TX. Went to Shepard AFB in Wichita Falls TX for tech school were I was train ad a medic and dental tech. I was placed in the Strategic Air Command and sent to Grand Forks AFB in Grand Forks ND where I spent 2 years. Then was transferred to McConnell AFB in Wichita KS where I served till my tour of duty was up. I wanted to reenlist but my husband was against it. I wish I'd made a career of it.
