He was born in Springfield, MA on June 7, 1955. Son of the late Kenneth J. Moriarty and Mary E. Moriarty (Guindon) of West Springfield. Kevin graduated from West Springfield High School in 1973. He attended the University of Mass where he earned a Doctorate in Chemical.
