| About Me | Went to NVCC at Annandale; took the pre-reqs for Nursing; and put my name on the waiting list. Worked as a temp for the federal government, and met my future husband, Rick, there. Got married in 1981, have 3 beautiful children, and somehow earned 3 degrees along the way. I worked at the National Academy of Sciences for 13 years, then went back to school. I am now doing two things I love at NVCC - Medical Education Campus. I've been teaching HIM and health classes to future nurses, EMTs, radiography techs, you name it. I also just started to work as a Library Associate, and absolutely love the people I work with. Plus, I see all my former students even when they graduate.
