Aaron Kornblum
Class of 1989
Air Force, 4 Years
Aaron Kornblum, Class of 1989, graduated from Princeton University in 1993 with a degree in politics on an Air Force ROTC scholarship, and earned his J.D. in 1996 at the University of Wisconsin School of Law.
Aaron served on active duty as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate at F.E. Warren AFB, in Cheyenne, Wyo. (1996-99), and Area Defense Counsel at Incirlik Air Base, Republic of Turkey (1999-2001). In 1998, Aaron received the American Bar Association’s Legal Assistance to Military Personnel Distinguished Service Award for his work as Legal Assistance Program Director at F.E. Warren AFB.
Following his military service, Aaron entered private practice in Seattle focusing on complex civil litigation and bankruptcy until joining Microsoft in 2004.
Today Aaron leads worldwide security policy across the XBOX, XBOX Live, and Games for Windows divisions – the Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB) – at Microsoft Corporation.
Aaron presently serves as the Secretary for the Board of Directors for the USO Puget Sound Area. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, all federal, state and bankruptcy courts in Washington State, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Armed Forces.

Our West Potomac High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our West Potomac High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Alexandria are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
