Class of 1992
Coast Guard, 1 Years

I am in the NDMS (National Disaster Medical System), a branch of Federal Health and Human Services. We are deployed to the disaster areas, hurricaine, earthquake, fire, volcano, war zones,...to accept and treat the casualties in the MASH field hospital. Even though we are not military, but our deployment orders are supported by the military resources. The Federal is considering to put the NDMS under the Coast Guard, just don't know when.
