Retired United Airline Captain, and FAA Examiner Designee for United Airlines, DC-8 Program.

Enlisted in the Army in 1958. Completed Jump School at Ft. Bragg, NC and served three years as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. Discharged in 1962, but re-upped in 1966 for the Warrant Officer Helicopter Flight Program. Graduated from flight school as a Warrant Officer/Aviator in 1967. Served two tours in Vietnam as a UH-1 helicopter gunship aircraft commander from 1967-1969. Discharged in 1971 as a CWO 2 flight instructor, with a total of 11 years active duty............

SGM Ernest J. Vigil

Army, 20+ Years
Sergeant Major Ernest J. Vigil is a Colorado native and currently living in Lakewood, Colorado. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1976 and spent 12 years on active duty. After a long break in service, SGM Vigil decided to once again enlist in the US Army as a Reserve soldier.
He has held numerous positions while serving in both the Active Army and Reserves and is currently serving his second tour in Iraq.
