| About Me | Graduate of Full Sail University (media production) and CPCC (computer science). Had a decades-long career in IT, ultimately running the Office Automation dept. at Novant Health, and CTO at Mentiris, Inc. Burned out. Graduated from the Graduate School of Coaching and coached executives and management for Fortune 500 companies for 11 years. During all of this and even part of my time at WC, I was involved in motorsports, mostly as a driver and/or instructor. I pivoted my contributions to the coaching company to motorsports and transportation. Retired for the last time as a professional race driver in 2011 but continued coaching and instructing in all forms of driving from teens (more on that in a bit) to Military SF, Gov'ts and LE, to the highest levels of racing. Later pivoted the entire company (rEvolution Performance) to adult education for corporate clients, mostly in the transportation sector, doing turnkey solutions. Curriculum development, instructional design, delivery, event management, and large-format broadcast training & conferencing during and after COVID were our mainstays, until... Got a call with an offer I couldn't refuse out of the blue to come to work for a company in the field of autonomous vehicle development. Relocated to PHX for said job, only to have said company decide that after 10 years and billions of $ invested, they didn't want to play with cars anymore. So they eliminated the entire division and over 1000 jobs (including mine) with it. Now I'm looking forward to what the next chapter brings. While I figure out what that looks like, I'm contracting with some old clients. As for the teen driving thing... I've been the CEO of an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit named Teen Driving Solutions School for over 10 years. The organization launched in 2010 and has become statistically the most successful program available in the USA, relative to graduates not getting into any incidents post-attendance. 98% of our graduates have avoided getting so much as a parking ticket for a minimum of 4 years after graduating. Our program is based from the heart and keeping teens out of crashes, while coming from science for the technicals, and with an all-volunteer staff made up of motorsport pros, education pros, gearheads, etc. who all share in the program's mission of "Arrive Alive Every Time You Drive!™" - you can't help but win. Every penny that comes into TDSS goes directly to saving lives. Period. Check us out at www.teendrivingsolutions.org ! Also, I'm looking for someone to replace me as CEO since having moved to AZ has removed me too much from the program's regular operation.
