Served active duty for 24 years. Retired as a Senior Chief Electrician (E-8), submarine qualified, nuclear trained. Served on board USS Paul Revere (LPA-248), USS Sculpin (SSN-590), USS Sea Devil (SSN-664) and USS Von Steuben (SSBN-632).
