Class of 1974
Navy, 11 Years
Spent 4 years in the Air Force and 7 in the US Navy. I went to the air force right out of high school. I graduated on June the 6th and June the 12th I was in boot camp in San Antonio Texas. My job after schooling in the Air Force was a Loadmaster on the large cargo aircraft. I was stationed at Mac Dill AFB in Tampa FL, a great place to be for 4 years after growing up in Beloit. After my time was up in the USAF I made my way back to little Beloit to find no work so instead of just hanging out. I joined the Navy with the same sweet job I had in the Air Force. I was stationed in Virginia Beach and Atlanta at Naval Air Stations and never had to board a ship.

In the Navy I travled to Spain, Italy, Lajas Island Portugal, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska, Japan, Philippians, and Iceland, Met alot of good people and had a wonderful time. I retired in 1990
