While attending Irving Elementary, in West Allis, Wi., I took an amazing ring to school for "show and tell". It was a massive gold and silver ring my Dad brought back from WW2. I remembered later, washing my hands in the boys bathroom, and leaving it there...(oh how I have agonized over that, over the years). Someone in West Allis found it there and I've never seen or heard of it again. It is a huge ring, big square face with (I think) a bird or eagle on it. The sentimental value far outweighs its monetary value. My dad was a war hero.

While I no longer have the ring I would like to share what I remember.
Around 1969 I found a gold West Allis HS class ring from 1933 with the initials FTF in it. I lived in West Hyattsville, MD then and wore the ring for a few years until I lost it in a cold stream in the mountains of PA around 1972. I have always wondered who FTF was and how the ring wound up in Maryland.

Trying to locate the owner of a class ring that we found. The ring has a sapphire stone with a C in the middle. It is a men's ring. It is from 1975 and it has an A on the left side and a B on the right. There is a bulldog on one side and a crest on the other side. It is a Jostens ring but there are no other words or letters engraved inside. I know a bulldog is your mascot, so I thought I would see if that sounded like it could belong to a former 75 grad of Central. If this sounds like a possibility, please e-mail me.

I have a men's class ring a friend found that I believe belongs to one of your alumni. The name engraved inside is "Nick Rozanski" and it is from the class of 1993. I am trying to help her find the owner of the ring so it can be returned. We think maybe he was helping her son with a motor or something and took it off? Anyhow, if you are out there or know how to reach this person, please contact me at poptartsr4me@yahoo.com. Yes, I share an email with my kids. Thanks for your help.
