About Me	I was widowed at age 23, remarried for 41 years, widowed in 2012, have 3 children one of which is deceased, worked for 10 years for Vocational Rehabilitation Service, was employed with SUPERVALU INC for 36 1/2 years as Human Resources Manager. Built in the Wellborn community in 1971. Children graduated from Wellborn. Daughter was in the band and a majorette. Graduated from JSU with a degree in psychology. Boys were involved in sports achieving many awards. Oldest is one deceased and graduated from UAB. Other is a retired Anniston Fireman and works for Harley Davidson. One oldest granddaughter graduated from Wellborn as Salutatorian in 2007 and was a varsity cheerleader for 4 years, Sr. High Homecoming Queen and Senior Football Sponsor. She attended JSU on a Community Foundation $20,000 Scholarship, a West Anniston Foundation Scholarship, and an Elks Post 189 Scholarship and graduated in 2011 with a BS in Nursing and is employed as a hospice nurse in Birmingham suburb where she, husband, daughter, son and stepson reside in Alabasta, a suburb of Birmingham. Our other granddaughter graduated from Ohatchee High School in 2011 third in her class and attended JSU on a Presidential Scholarship, graduating in 2016 after completing an internship at Walt Disney World. Is employed with a hospice group in Oxford, Alabama and resides in Oxford. Our grandson graduated from Ohatchee High School and attended Gadsden State Technical College.
