Naval Aviator flying the F4 Phantom in VX4, VF121,VF101 and VF101 DET A, and VF41, VF 84 and VF41 again. Spent five years as the Representative in Charge of the Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant at Calverton New York where I was responsible for the the flight acceptance of all of the Grumman aircraft delivered to the Navy and Air Force. During these five years I flew primarily in the F141 Tomcat. After retiring from the US Navy I worked for Grumman Aircraft and then Northrup Grumman for 17 years. Retiring at the Program Director of Product Operations for the E-2C Hawkeye and the C-2A Greyhound Aircraft. Retired to Oriental, North Carolina.

Joined active reserves in 1977 and began career in Special Operations assignments & Intelligence Operations. Served in numerous intelligence assignments. Highlights was worjing on the Soviet Desk at the Defense Intelligence Agency for nearly 4 years; Serving as Deputy G-2 for the 24th Infantry Division; Working in the Pentagon for the Officer of Special Operations. I wrote the draft for DA PAM The Art and Science of Psychological Operations 1975 to 1996 which was later used to create the textbooks for the PSYOP Course at the JFK Special Warfare School and Center at Fort Bragg, NC.; Finished my active career with USSOCOM (The Special Operations Command) at McDill AFB. Volunteered after 911 by the request of MONAG to train the force assigned to provide security at Lambert International Airport. They did a great job. I retired in 2008 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel with decorations and Honorable Discharge.
