Favorite School Memory | My crazy friends, the "Wolf Pack", the Circle, the boys room trashing incident on 1977? NYC. The woods behind the school and getting in a bit too much trouble, the girls/women, and the parties. I also loved the bands I was in. Does anyone remember when Anthony Wayne Junior High had the 9th grade in it? I don'...(read more) |
About Me | I got out of motorcycle repair & went into RETS Campus, Nutley NJ for an AAS in Electrical Engineering Technology. I built a business in NJ doing electrical, security, audio & video and lost it due to bad management. (No kidding, maybe a wee-bit too much partying too) I suffered & survived a few addictions. I suffered & survived a kidnapping in 1983, where I was beaten, raped & sodomized. That really sucked, it also kind of led to the end of my music career...Got on two 45's, BFD. Regained my mind and enlightened myself. A miracle, some still do not believe! I escaped from NJ/NY. I entered US Navy boot camp @ 34, and 10 months. (Only two months before I was too old) Turned 35 in boot camp! Made it into BUD/S, DOR on the 10th day, the water was ice in December!. So what, I failed Navy Seal School PTTR, Oorah- I still tried. Did any of you try? Thats an accomplishment in itself to get in and last any number of days. I would of rather passed, but then my fate would be different... I did an outstanding job in the Navy, I was the top of every class academically and physically. Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Medal. I made E5 as an Aviation Electricians Mate 2nd Class Petty Officer in 3 years, Served in Operation Southern Watch in the Persian Gulf, and received an Honorable Discharge. I got RSD as a result of several failed shoulder surgeries, 5 pins, and a lot of muscle atrophy. I got medically discharged 11 days before my four years of exemplary military service due to sports injuries (Motocross). I became 100% disabled due to Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy of my cervical spine, right shoulder, and right hand among other injuries. I get a fairly decent pension for it. Smart- I did not decide to continue Motocross freestyle contests. DUMB- I still want to learn and Land a backflip. I got married for the first time at 39. I have 1 boy named Joseph William Vito Damiano with my wife Lynnette. I have a stepdaughter named Haven too. I briefly wrote about the "Nightmare & The Miracle" that happened to my wife and family. She died twice during childbirth and went into a coma for 5.5 days. (Google Damiano + Nightmare to read about it) I started a web consulting & Internet Marketing firm. This is still in development, you need money to make money. Hey any of you, do you owe me some money? I may have forgot! I played drums for many Churches from North Carolina, down to Memphis & Tennessee, over to San Diego, Fresno, & finally in Bakersfield, CA. I author a bunch of blogs. I have been featured in a few newspapers and was chosen as Father of the Year in 1999 by a local News Station in Bakersfield, CA. Now in 2007, I am unsure that our marriage is going to stay together, as my wife is going in another direction than me. We will try to make it, but we also agreed we would try leave on the best of terms just in case. Thats pretty good, 7+ ...(read more) |
