About Me	After graduation, I moved back to California for college. Regrettably, I've been married and divorced twice, but I have two phenomenal sons as a result of those relationships. The eldest is a smart, independent teenager and the youngest is a brilliant and charming elementary schooler. I currently have no plans to try marriage a third time... Like many of us, my life has been full of ups, downs, turmoil and successes, joys and sorrows. My first marriage was to an abusive personality; my second marriage was to someone I thought for sure would be my life partner but who unfortunately viewed marriage as a "multiple choice" affair, on more than one occasion. Today finds me as an easy-going (yet passionate and driven) single dad. I own my own home, have a great (but difficult) job, can cook, clean and even do my own laundry! LOL The flip side is that my first divorce experience led me to revisit one of my childhood dreams -- I wanted to be a doctor, a lawyer or an engineer. Well, engineering bored me to tears, and I never really pursued medicine (something about dissecting frogs didn't sit well, as I recall). I did, however, attend law school and graduated magna cum laude at the top of my class. I'm currently a partner and attorney with a family law firm in Walnut Creek, CA and I live on the outskirts of the San Francisco Bay Area (one of the most beautiful places on earth). Given the current economic conditions, it's probably going to be necessary for me to launch my own solo practice in the very near future. This will also allow me to devote much more time to being a dad than my current work situation permits and hopefully let me have some semblance of a normal life (have you read about what life in a law firm is like??).
