We grew up together on Winchester Rd. I was in Germany when Dawn passed so tragically. I left Ft. Wayne in 1978 when I joined the U.S. Army and lost touch with all but one of my childhood friends. Had many sleepovers and camped out in her backyard a few times. For those who remained friends with Dawn into adulthood, condolences on the loss of your friend. BTW, she was a natural blond and dyed her black in high school. The picture featured above I believe was her senior high school photo.
