About Me	Graduated from Wartburg in 1972 with majors in English and Elem. Ed. Married right after college graduation and have been married to the same great guy ever since. Taught in Riceville, Iowa for 4 years before moving to Atlanta, GA area in 1976. Had 2 sons in 1976 and 1980. Have a daughter that my husband brought to the marriage, as well. Began teaching again in 1981 in public and private schools. Got my Masters, Specialist's degree, and Media degree at Piedmont College and University of West GA and continued teaching another 23 years until I became a media specialist for the last 10 years. I retired with 37 years in education. We moved to the Athens, GA area in the summer of 2018 and enjoy cheering on the UGA Bulldogs in football. My husband and I enjoy traveling and seeing our grandchildren who are scattered through the US. We have enjoyed our volunteer work with the local hospital, Atlanta Food Bank, church, and community. I sang with the Douglas County Chamber Singers 15 years in many exciting venues--including New York's Carnegie Hall twice, Georgia's Chateau Elan, the Georgia capitol building, Atlanta's St. Phillip's Cathedral, with the military FORSCOM o...(read more)
