This group was established to bring together the classes of the 1970�s for the Captain JP cruise planned for September 11, 2010. The cruise has been titled �That 70�s Float� in order to attract a group of people from Watervliet who went to school (La Salle, Catholic High, Columbia, Heatley, CBA, Holy Name, Keveny, Vincentian, Shaker, Albany Academy, Emma Williard etc.) in the fabulous 70's. Now that you have found this page you are invited to �Drift Away� with your fellow classmates, friends, teachers (late assignments still being accepted) and guests of the classes of the 1970�s on the Captain JP cruise on September 11, 2010. Boarding will begin at 7 PM. The Capt. JP II departs from Downtown Troy, at the intersection of State & Front Streets, where free parking is provided on all weekends. Plans are being developed for the 35th reunion of the WHS Class of 1975. The tentative date is October 16th 2010 during WHS Home Coming Weekend. Many can attend the Football Game in the afternoon. After the game an informal gettogether will be held.
