Commissioned via ROTC at CU 1968. Served in 5/4 ADA Arty in Rhode Island 1968- May 1969. Served as platoon leader B/1/44 Arty (Dusters) August 1969 - June 1970 in Northern I Corps AO out of Dong Ha, attached to 3rd Marines, then 101st Air Mobile. Medevac'ed out June 1970, via Japan, Fort Carson, off active duty July 1970.
