Navy, 6 Years
i was jack of all trades did lots of sea duty.
i traveled to most of asia on mars class ship.
uss white plains afs-4 forward depolyed overseas in japan.
i traveled extensivly in asia and off coast of somalia and in arabien sea and indian ocean.
i got to visit western australia and oman and diego garcia . i tranferd to east pacific on bb-62 uss new jersey now a museum ship.
i got to see southern california and mexico and el salvador and honduras in military and out of military too.my ship was homeported in long beach ca for 2 years 1984-86.i loved southern california wished i would have stayed living there after i got out of military but lived in beutifull state of alaska too for 4 years loved it there but too isolated on military duty and out of military duty .
i returnd to michigan to be with family now im stuck here till i get relesed from PROBATE COURT and bankruptcy and get my pysciatrist to relese me back on my own where i will handle my own money.
i have guardien now court appointed is why im out of military now . i did get HONORABLE DISCHARGE FROM MILITARY in 1988.

Army, 13 Years
Served 13 years, over five years as a recon medic, then over seven years as a nurse. Most of my time was in 18th Airborne Corps. Also taught nursing at United States Army Academy of Health Sciences at the Ft. Bragg, NC school. Injured during parachute training and left the Army in 1989 to return to Ohio where I worked as an OR and Coronary care nurse until I went back to school.
