Only by taking in knowledge of God does this strengthen the spirit of man to stand before Him; the Word is our Light which gives us the ability to see Him, not just through faith, but after departure into the spiritual world. For the spiritual sight is the understanding; thus, the more understanding of God there is in man, the more he is able to see the form of the Lord in Heaven by being nearer to Him. For the love of the Lord flows into man through his understanding and gradually forms himself within them through knowledges, which brings forth the fruit of love, his perfection.
