HARLOW (H.A.) ANDERSON, age 79 of Waseca died on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his home in Waseca.
Born on July 12, 1937 in Waseca, Minnesota, he was the son of Alvin and Amanda (Schultz) Anderson. He attended school in Waseca and served in the Army Reserves. Harlow married Lois Berg in Waseca and they were later divorced. He was employed with Herters, E.F. Johnson Co., Sprengelers Oil, and as an engineer with the Chicago NW Railroad for 32 years. He also worked for Retrofit Lighting in Owatonna. Harlow enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, bowling, playing cards, socializing with friends, and he had a great sense of humor. He was a member of the American Legion Post 228 in Waseca.
Harlow is survived by two sons, Randy (Dianna) Anderson of Stillwater and Richard (Lori) Anderson of Owatonna; four grandchildren, Kristina Anderson, Christopher Anderson, Taryn Anderson, and Nicholas Anderson; and four great grandchildren, Codi Jenkins, Harlow Anderson, Silas Tate, and Zane Harman. He is also survived by siblings, Mary Fiebiger of Waseca, John Anderson of Waseca, and Connie (Stephen) Jiroch of Reno, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter; sister and brother-in-law, Joan (Bill) Briley; brother, Richard in infancy; brother-in-law, Bill Fiebiger; and sister-in-law, Frannie Anderson.
