| About Me | Was youngest staff member of Meadowbrook Theatre @ Oakland Univ. Hitchhiked from Warren to CA, then to Fairbanks, Alaska- solo. Became a Nader's Raider, held a press conference in Lansing, wrote and enacted legislation requiring Mich restaurants to display A/B/C ratings card in window. Worked on national legislation to propose the initiative process as a US Constitutional Amendment. Earned an AA in Fashion Design from FIDM. Became one of the first women boom operators in the Hollywood film industry. Worked on 83 movies & TV projects- with Michelle Pfeiffer on her first film, with George Harrison and his company, and got a hickie from Dustin Hoffman! Produced 18 special interest documentaries, winning 5 film awards. Currently writing a book on motion picture sound production recording. Also run a successful real estate investment company. My first website design won a bronze award in an international competition of more than 1,000 entries. Still raising two children with learning disabilities. Currently working on a television pilot. Climbed 13 mountains 14,000' or higher.Lost 14 lbs! As an officer of a labor union, successfully exposed corruption that brought change. Successfully exposed corruption in the LA govt. by a religious organization and stopped a 30yr. zoning debacle. Got the last seat on a plane hours before Katrina hit New Orleans. Rebuilt my apartment building in New Orleans amid people pulling guns on people for their drywall. Thankfully, sold my building. Survived 2 brain surgeries.
