About Jimmy passed away 3 years ago following a brief battle with stomach cancer. He had been living in a rural area outside Boston and working in high tech. He was an avid outdoorsman, living on the edge of the wilderness and hiking and exploring the Berkshires and White Mountains year-round. He had a military funeral as he served in the army including a deployment to Korea. He also spent a year teaching gymnastics in Singapore. He kept himself in great shape. He is survived by his brother Joe in NC and his 2 sisters.

Jimmy's first car "the Tank" in Stony Brook ... made it all the way, non-stop, to the Florida Keys and the water pump failed. Jim, Tommy Clay and I on another spring break adventure. Tommy rode shotgun the whole way and never slept a wink. If you knew Tommy you'd know why he insisted on riding shotgun.
