Air Force, 20+ Years
Tsgt Mackay Served over 20 years with the New York Air National Guard, and served in the Middle East in 1999 and then again in 2003. He retired in 2005 and retuned tio the unit again 2007.

Ordnance Supply Specialist. Served from 18 October 1960 thru 17 October 1963. From June of 1961 thru August 1962 I spent in South Korea. I was on the Washington DC, Baltimore defense perimeter on a missile site during the Cuban Crises.

Eric Berkowitz
Class of 1972
Army, 2 Years
Served during Vietnam 1973 to mid 1975 did a tour in Frankfurt Germany as a Radio Relay Operator. Toured Europe and met some mighty fine people. Learned how to drink some really good bier Hmmmm. I will return again someday to taste it again. hat was the only place I could drink 17 biers and not feel the pain even when I woke up and remembered EVERY minute. GREAT STUFF.

Navy, 20+ Years
Enlisted in Naval Reserve in my junior year in HS; appointed to US Naval Academy and graduated 1968. Served 30 years, as a naval aviator and public affairs specialist. Flew 500-plus combat mission in Vietnam War as Navy helo gunship pilot with Seawolves of HAL-3. Taught history at USNA. Served on personal staffs of two chairmen, JCS. Directed Navy command information bureau during recovery operations for TWA Flight 800. Retired as captain in 1998.

Sailed Pacific building towers on the smallest Islands and improving the economy in Manilla, Hong Kong, Yokuska, Cavite, Agana, etc... .then spent years learning, and practicin,g teaching younger generation to be CG Officers. Nice work.
Then back to NY to build local towers and raise six in beautiful upstate Milton. Thanks to Connie for keeping us in touch.
