Jake joined the Marines after we graduated from high-school in 2003. Jake died from wounds received while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He passed away on March 31, 2006. He was friends with so many people. Great personality and smile. We all love & miss him dearly. He is truly our hero.
