One of the several "tough guys" from Dublin Elementary School. I think of Chuck and will always recall his 'staged' fight in the halls of C.S.Smart as he and Terry Domin desired a 3 day suspension... Terry said, "you ready?" and in response Chuck cracked him in the jaw: the fight was on! They got their suspension. I saw history teacher Mr Ligon from Dublin Jr. High in the mid-70's, he expressed to me a sincere sadness of Chuck's death in Nam. Truly sad....
