| About Me | After high school, I attended Walla Walla Community College, and went to work for the Alaska Air Group, working for them for nine years. In 1998 I was hired full time with the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office, and have worked there since. During my career, I spent two years working in the county jail before transitioning to the road as a patrolman. I spent three years in the patrol division, where I was certified as a marine officer. In 2003 I entering the traffic enforcement unit, which is where I am currently assigned. I am certified as a traffic collision reconstructionist, a motorcycle collision reconstructionist, a Drug Recognition Expert (1 of 200 hand selected by the Washington State Patrol) certified by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and certified as a DRE instructor, and I’m an emergency vehicle operation course instructor (teaching cops to drive).
