Clayton Alan Alger, 25, of Walla Walla, Washington, passed away on April 1, 2015 at his home.

Clayton was born in Kennewick, WA to Rodney & Christine Alger on May 10, 1989. He attended school in Walla Walla. His teachers said he was eager to learn, excellent at math and had a great sense of humor. He then went on to Walla Walla Community College for culinary arts and HVAC training. He worked in the HVAC trade as a service/install technician for several years with ongoing education in the trade. He was so well liked by his customers that he was requested back year after year for their service needs.

Clayton loved reading and playing with his dog Meg. He enjoyed cooking & was a master at barbequing. Other activities he enjoyed were skate boarding, playing Frisbee, fishing, camping, skiing, boating, wakeboarding and hanging out with his many friends. He had a heart that never stopped giving and never asked for anything in return.

Clayton is survived by his Father, Rod & step mother Karan, of Walla Walla; his brother Ryan, of Seattle; step sister, Amanda Dohrman of Seattle; grandparents, Ernest and Merna Alger of Walla Walla, Grandmother Suzanne Johnson of California and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Christine, Aunt Debra Smith and his dog, Meg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trilogy Recovery Community, 515 W. Poplar St., Walla Walla, WA 99362. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of his friends and family for the overwhelming support and understanding. Clayton will remain in our hearts forever.
