Dianna and I became friends during high school; I no longer recall how we met. After graduation, we shared an apartment for a while. We both married within a few years of graduation. Sometime after her first child was born, she and her husband (who was then in the Army) moved to Idaho. Between her move and my later one, we didn't see each very often (we both attended most, if not all, of our reunions), and I don't recall when she moved back to the WW area. We nevertheless remained in contact, first by birthday and holidays cards and the occasional letter and, later, email and then Facebook. The last time I saw Di was at our 2019 reunion. I was sad to learn recently that she had passed 7 months ago.
