Rodney Wade West, 23, of 8797 Treasure Avenue, Walkersville, MD died Thursday, August 17, 1989 in Rockville, MD from injuries sustained in a work related accident at F.O. Day Co.
Born in Gettysburg, PA., June 24, 1966, he was the son of Donald M. and Catherine "Cathy" Few West, Walkersville, MD.
He was a 1984 graduate of Walkersville High School and was emplyed as a machine operator by the F.O. Day Co., of Rockville.
In addition to his parents, he's survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Robert W. and Mary Elizabeth Faulkner West, Frederick; one sister, Jenni M. West, at home; maternal grandmother, Catherine Few, Frederick, paternal grandmother, Clarabelle West, Walkersville, one nephew, Robert W. Faulkner, Frederick; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. West was predeceased by both grandfathers, James C. Few, Jr., and Donald M. West, Sr.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funearl Home, 1621 Oppossumtown Pike, Frederick, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday, August 20.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21 at the Grace Rocky Hill Lutheran Church, Woodsboro. Interment will be in the Rocky Hill Cemetery, Woodsboro.
