Mr. William F. Cramer, Jr., 81, of Walkersville, Maryland, died on July 9, 2013, at Broadmore Senior Living in Hagerstown, MD.
Born March 3, 1932, in Frederick County, MD, he was the son of the late William F. Cramer, Sr. and Catherine G. Cramer.
He graduated from Walkersville High School, Walkersville, MD, in 1951. He continued to reside in Walkersville and was a farmer his entire life. In his later years he took pleasure in mowing the grass on the farm and frequenting the Walkersville Bowling Alley.
He was a life member of the Walkersville Fire Co. and the Elks Club.
William is survived by two sons, William F. Cramer, III, and wife Ann Cramer, of Raleigh NC; and John J. Cramer and wife Susie Cramer, of Cascade MD. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, David L. Cramer; and a brother, James J. Cramer.
We would like to thank Broadmore Senior Living Memory Care and Hospice of Washington County for the special care that was given during this difficult time.
Special thank-you to the Lambert family for all their help with Dad over the past few years.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville, on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Western MD Chapter, 108 Byte Drive, Suite 103, Frederick, MD 21702.
