John Markham
Class of 1961
Navy, 20+ Years
21 years enlisted service, 1962 - 1982. Retired as Senior Chief Petty Officer. Smartest thing I ever did was decide to stay in the Navy. The retirement pay alone (since 1982) has been worth it!
I was totally irresponsible in high school, even requiring Summer School in 1961 to graduate. The Navy gave me a chance to grow up and learn a lifetime trade, electronics.
