Navy, 4 Years
Navy Musician. 1966-70. Graduated from Naval School of Music. Two cruises to Vietnam. 6 Months and 8 Months in duration.Attached to USS Bennington and USS Kearsarge CVS Carriers. out of San Diego,CA. Finished active duty in Great Lakes with the Great Lakes Navy Band.

Navy, 20+ Years
i joined the US Navy May 30th 1981, went to boot camp at great lakes, IL. Graduated then i attended ATD school, left there reported aboard the USS Detroit AOE-4, spent 4 years there, then reorted aboard the USS Peteral ASR-14 did 2.5 years there, then went to Military Police School @ Fort McClelean, AL. Graduated and i was off to Great Lakes Naval Brig for a 5 years stint, then it was off to the USS Long Beach CGN-9 i wasnt there very long, and i got transfered back to Great Lakes naval Hospitol, cause of a car reck here just before i was to go back to the ship and head to Iraq, @ GLKS i was assigned to the Security Dept. for 2 years, after that i left active duty and entered the Naval Reserves in Lacrosse, Wi. i was attatched to ACB-1 Det 116, my job was a Bardge Ferry Pilot, spent 12 years there before retireing in 2004, On my first ship we were in volved in combate operations in Beruite lebonon, i could say alot more but you get it.
