Spent 4 years at U.S. Naval Academy. Graduated and commissioned in Marine Corps June 1967. In !968 and 1969 served combat tours in Vietnam with 1stMarDiv, then 3rd MarDiv as a Platoon Commander. A couple of hits, but many close calls. Retired as a Captain in mid-1972 for wounds suffered in combat. Currently a lawyer in Norwell, MA.

During my service I had the opportunity to travel to 17 countries, two years were serving aboard ship as driver for the Commander 2nd fleet and the Commander 4th Marine Amphibious Brigade who eventually became Commandant of the Marine Corps.. I now live in Each, NC outside of Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejuene
