About	Judith Ann Ruzicka May 26, 1946 - April 15, 2022 Judi Ruzicka, 75, of Springfield, MO passed away on April 15, 2022, in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Endicott, NY and spent most of her life in Missouri. She relocated to Springfield in 2006 after the birth of her first grandson. Judi worked as a medical technologist and then pursued an MBA while working at Quest Diagnostics, where she served as Lab Manager and then Customer Service Director. She made many lifelong friends from her time at Quest. Judi loved her friends and family and made everyone she interacted with feel special. She loved traveling the world and then documenting those travels in her scrapbooks. She also loved gardening and displaying her flowers. She made great friends through her time in the Evergreen Garden Club. She will be remembered for her kindness, cheerfulness, quick wit, and never-give-up attitude. She enjoyed so many long and lasting friendships and will be missed. Mostly she loved spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Leslie and Jamie Hathcock; three grandchildren Chandler, Kellen, and Allie; Sisters-in law Linda (Jack) Hedlund and Joy Sternberg; Nieces Tammie (Bob) Hannon, Tania (Sean Kielty) Hedlund and Jennifer (Andrew) Tamayo, her favorite nephew Tim (Christine) Hedlund and her partner Dan Tiedeman Judi was preceded in death by her parents George and Betty (Jones) Sternberg, son Lance Frost, siblings James Sternberg and Peg Cosser. If you would like to honor Judi’s memory, plant some flowers this spring, sunflowers are her favorite; or make a donation to the no-kill animal sanctuary: New Leash on Life, 419 Givens Branch Road, Marshfield, MO 65706. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Phoenix Home Care and Hospice for their excellent care and compassion. Services will be held at Greenlawn East Funeral Home on Monday, April 25 at 2:00 PM.
