About Me	I became Vermilion's FIRST female police officer in 1993 after graduating from the Sandusky Police Academy and worked for Vermilion PD until 1998. I married my husband Matt in May of 1994. We have one son, Matthew who is 12 years old and will be in 6th grade. We moved to Iowa in 1998. We have had several foreign exchange students in the last few years from Germany and Japan. We travel alot to see our families back in Vermilion. I am also an Area Rep for YFU (Youth For Understanding) which is an Exchange Student organization out of Washington DC. I recruit families for hosting foreign exchange students here in the US and I also help students from the US go abroad.
